1956 Supro Dual Tone Electric Guitar w/ original case / Bowie

Mid 50’s Supro Dual Tone’s have a mojo and mystique about them.

This one is a 1956. Serial #: x70163

A good one sounds like a classic record from that time period.

Pickups sound amazing, yet they are fussy instruments that need

attention and care. This one has been setup but could use a fret dress

for lower action and the original selector switch could use an update to a toggle switch.

The pickup selector pot can change neck / both / bridge sounds with the aid of a wrench.

It appears to be completely original with the rare alligator case.

The off white / yellow finish is so clean that it may be a refin.

It is definitely the time period correct color.
