1976 Ovation Fretless Magnum I Stereo Bass OHSC & Candy / heard on Zoot Horn Rollo’s – We Saw A Bozo

This 1976 Ovation Magnum was bought new off the shelf by bassist Dave Lucas and has been used on gigs and recordings the

past 45+ years. You can hear this actual bass on Zoot Horn Rollo’s album “We Saw a Bozo Under The Sea”.

Attached is a pic of Dave playing with famous guitarists Al Hendrickson and Laurindo Almeida in the 1980’s.

Rossco Wright a Northwest guitar luthier and inventor of “SoloEtte” (creator of the first guitar in space) converted the bass to fretless and has been the luthier on this bass since the 1980’s.

Bass is in fantastic condition with no issues and ready to play perfectly for you. OHSC, Ovation catalog/manual, and packs of bass strings are included with this Magnum1!
