Many may be familiar with the Binson Echorec but Binson made great tube amplifiers starting in the early 1950’s.

They are hard to find and have a great tone. The video enclosed is the actual amp from an Italian dealer that we got this from.

 

( He did not include the guitar cable that you need to use this amp. A cable needs to be made with a traditional 1/4″ guitar cable (male) and the other end

with a Geloso 396CR Plug (female that goes into the amp) on the other end. Piet’s Audio Extravaganza on Reverb can also make you a cable. )

The amp has been tested by our tech and will work once you have a cable.

There is a small tear on the speaker (see pic) and the voice coil is rubbing – so you may need to change that out.

Not a ton of work to do for a historical amp with some serious tonal mojo.
