The Howitzer relies on a Class D amp design for maximum output efficiency, belying its ultra-compact format. Tone shaping options abound, including a bright/normal switch and bass, mid, treble, and gain controls. Equipped with an FX loop, Howitzer also lets you insert your favorite effects between its preamp section and volume knob — a configuration guitarists at Sweetwater especially prefer for reverb and delay effects.
