With Epiphone’s vintage-voiced ProBucker FB720 pickup and classic Firebird style, the Epiphone Limited Edition Joe Bonamassa “Treasure” Firebird-I solidbody electric guitar is ready to rock. It’s based on Bonamassa’s rare single-pickup 1963 Firebird, complete with a period-correct early ’60s rounded “C” neck profile and Kluson reissue Firebird/Banjo tuners. The tone is glorious, with enhanced sustain courtesy of the neck-through construction. It’s the fourth Bonamassa signature guitar from Epiphone, and the Limited Edition 2016 Joe Bonamassa Firebird-I is one of the most rockin’ and value-packed Firebirds we’ve seen at Sweetwater.

Its ProBucker FB720 humbucking pickup uses alnico II bar magnets as blades in coils, along with a steel reflector plate. The sound is clean and bright, with a robust low end, and very touch sensitive. Roll back the Master Volume a bit, set your tube amp at its breakup point, and you can go from extremely clean to extremely mean just with your volume knob.
