Here is one of the cleanest 1979 Marshalls you will ever see. It’s also one of the rarest with less than 200 manufactured.

We received the amp from the original owner whom purchased it in 1980 in NYC at Manny’s Music. It has it’s original Seimens tubes, the mega rare foot switch and schematics.

The only modification is a Stereo Effects Loop which has been added on the back panel. Has Jim Marshall 12’s in red cast iron.

This 4140 model was part of the Alex Lifeson / Rush – Moving Pictures tone. He toured with two of these for the rhythm – lead tones

and two Hiwatts for cleans. SRV used one of these in the early 80’s in his club days.

Would prefer someone pick this up at our shop. It is quite heavy and would prefer not risking this getting damaged in shipping.
